By downloading, installing, or using CraveSense ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CraveSense is a food discovery application that provides:

Mood-based food and meal recommendations
Recipe suggestions powered by TheMealDB API
AI-powered chat assistance for food-related queries
Personal food preference tracking
Favorites and meal history features

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information during registration
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
Interfere with the proper functioning of the App
Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
Impersonate any person or entity
Use the App to spam or harass others

5. Content and Recipes

Important: Recipe content is provided by TheMealDB, a third-party API. CraveSense does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of any recipe information. Always use your own judgment when preparing food, especially regarding allergies, dietary restrictions, and food safety.

You acknowledge that:

Recipes are for informational purposes only
You are responsible for verifying ingredients for allergies
Food preparation should follow proper safety guidelines
AI recommendations are suggestions, not medical or nutritional advice

6. AI Chat Feature

The CraveSense AI chat feature is powered by Groq LLM technology. Please note:

AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate
Do not rely on AI for medical, nutritional, or health advice
The AI is designed for food-related conversations only
Rate limiting applies to ensure fair usage for all users

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding third-party content), is owned by CraveSense and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

CraveSense uses the following third-party services:

TheMealDB: For recipe and meal data
Firebase: For authentication and data storage
Groq: For AI chat functionality
Google Sign-In: For authentication

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRAVESENSE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FOOD-RELATED INJURIES OR ALLERGIC REACTIONS.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
